Rev. Roy Zimmerman
Senior Pastor firstname.lastname@example.org
Roy has been Senior Pastor at Tisdale Alliance Church since December 2009, having relocated from an island in the Pacific (Quadra Island, BC).
Roy heeded God’s call to full-time ministry in 2000, at which time he left a career in computer software design and management, packed up his family and headed to Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina.
Roy and his wife Sherrée have two adult daughters – Amanda (St. Paul, AB) and Kaitlyn (Winnipeg, MB).
Roy loves construction and renovation projects and has affectionally been nicknamed “Pastor MacGyver” – ask him about how he fixed the church furnace with a paperclip – no kidding!
When Roy is not immersed in sermon preparation, you can often find him in the garden or tackling a renovation project at home, the church, or anywhere else his help is requested.
Roy’s passion is to see the Church of Tisdale grow in unity and witness as they go ever deeper in their relationship with their risen Saviour. And… as they grow, living out what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the hurting and broken people God places in our lives.
Pastor Luke Bergmann
Associate Pastor email@example.com
Luke and his wife Rachelle have called Tisdale home since 2016 and have one daughter, Hayley.
Luke loves Star Wars, the Colorado Avalanche, potato chips, fast food, dodgeball and has moderate obsessions with Colonel Sanders and growing bonsai trees. When not at the church, he can probably be found puttering around his yard, bicycling around town with his family, or fishing at the trout pond.
Luke first felt the call into vocational ministry in 2012, feeling specifically directed to work with children and youth. He loves walking alongside adolescents as they seek to learn how God views them and as they find their place in His Kingdom. Luke’s heart is for the youth of Tisdale and the surrounding area to recognize the destructive lies of the enemy and to seek the abundant life offered through a life-changing relationship with Christ!
